Batman meets robin - Batman Forever Reviews
I think this was the best in the series. Val Kilmer gives a just as good performance as the dark knight. Tommy Lee Jones is perfect for Two-Face and Jim Carrey is The perfect Riddler. Also Chris O'Donnell plays Dick Grayson a young acrobat who moves in with Bruce Wayne and then becomes Robin and teams with Batman to seek revenge on Two-Face for the murder of his father, mother and brother. This is definatly the best in the series because of Robin.
60's style batman went out in the 60's - Batman Forever Reviews
The campy style of the 60's batman tv show is very prevalent in this film. It just does not work today. 60's camp is fun, but only in something that was ment for the 60's. People went to see this film for the simply fact that they expected the same style as the first two films.
The reason why this film did so well, was simply due to the fact that it is the predessor to two great films. This film turned off most of the fans to the seires, thats why the next film did so poorly. When Joel Shumocker took over the directors chair from Tim Burton, he simply ruined the seires.

One of too many - Batman Forever Reviews
Its hard to keep the batman movies straight with so many of them. The fact that there anre many different actors playing batman doesnt help. On the other hand, the acting was well done and the plot was quite thought out.
Batman forever? yeah right - Batman Forever Reviews
What do you get when you take Jim Carry, Val Kilmer, Tommy Lee Jones, Chris O Donnel, and Nicole Kidman? The answer alot of big named actors. If you cant get the Keaton back and Burton directing the movie what do you do? You start out on a clean sweep you get and up and coming actors that you keep for the next couple of sequels.
It was pointless having Val KIlmer playing Batman( no offense Val but you played your best role in Real Genuis) because if you made a fourth he didn't want to sign on.
Also Robin is not a 20 something year old kid when his parents die it more like 12 or younger.
See what made Tim Burton first two Batman's a hit was that Keaton was still up and coming and also Pheifer (with the exception of DeVito and Nicholson).
ANd also it was lighter then the first two.
Thats why i really dont like this one and the next one.

Went on forever - Batman Forever Reviews
Batman Forever was dreadful. The first two batman films were good, but this is so bad I won't see the fourth installment "Batman and Robin." The worst part of this was the acting! They replaced Michael Keaton for Val Kilmer. This movie was made to be a weapon, but somehow it became a movie.
Bob kane must be turning over in his grave. - Batman Forever Reviews
This is the sort of movie that deserves to be dragged out and shot to be put out of its misery. God, it's just dang awful. First of all, Val Kilmer was never meant to be Batman, and even if he by some mistake up in Heaven was, why didn't he dye his hair black? Bruce Wayne ain't a sissy blonde haired guy that does not know how to act!! Also, Jim Carrey is all right, but after awhile all that tight nylon in his suit starts getting to his brain and he starts going a little crazy. Oh, and the special effects are gag awful.
So, why even bother seeing this movie? Well, besides the rest of it, Chris O'Donnell does make a decent Robin and 'Kissed by a Rose' does sort of get stuck in your head after awhile.
Overall, I hate this movie and think it should just be forgotten, except to show new Hollywood recruits what a bad movie looks like. It's like some big time movie guy took the dark drama that Batman was, took all of its dignity and humanity and made it into some big time blockbuster with big explosions and colorful costumes, like it was some stupid parade.
A new batman for a new director... - Batman Forever Reviews
Micheal Keaton is too old. OK, I'll buy that for a dollar. I'm sure it has nothing to do with the fact that the director was attempting to introduce an aspect of sex appeal to the film.
Glow in the dark vehicles... of course. Batman travels at night.. by stealth, and should use a car that can be seen a mile away.
Robin. Uh-huh.
Well, at least Alfred didn't change too much.
Carrey looked as if he had a great time filming and overshadowed a Tommy Lee Jones who just didn't seem all too comfortable at times.
Val Kilmer didn't play all too bad a Batman, but didn't last long enough to do better.
Shumacher was, at the time, a rather good director, but did little to advance the franchise except for bringing his own personal vision to light... and not at all what anyone else who paid to see the movie had wanted.
The writing was on the wall. Bring popcorn, and plan a bathroom break.

Sweet movie! - Batman Forever Reviews
My favorite Batman. This movie is jampacked with kickass actors. This movie for back in the 90's was way ahead of its time. I still watch today and love it. All the Batman's are good but this one is my favorite.
Forever - Batman Forever Reviews
this movie has alot of holes but the good thing in it is the technique in the costume disigning and the visual effects but the story is too childish and lack the superheros movies action.
A blonde bruce wayne????? - Batman Forever Reviews
Val Kilmer is the new Batman, and that really surprised me, because he is blonde. The two new villains are Two Face (played by Tommy Lee Jones) and the Riddler (by the funny Jim Carrey). It also features Nicole Kidman (a then young woman). The movie is fair, not good. It's the second worst installment, and the funny scenes with Jim Carrey addes humour to the movie, but just a little too much. It's a superhero movie, not a dumb comedy.

Great - Batman Forever Reviews
Batman Forever is a timeless movie, it has a lot of action, a good story and a quirky twist that remimded us of that classic t.v. series. Although Joel Schumacher is a hack if I ever saw one, he managed to direct a movie that will always have a special spot in my heart. Batman Forever is one of the best Batman movies. Altough Batman wasn't portrayed according to the comic books which I love, the movie entertained audiences everywhere.
Batman franchise starting its plunge - Batman Forever Reviews
The worst was to come for the Batman movies in Batman & Robin, but Batman Forever was a huge step behind the first two movies by Tim Buron.
The story was not pretty much inspired and the acting performances, except for Jim Carey who was stunning in his role of the Sphynx, were seriously poor. Val Kilmer simply did not fit as Batman / Bruce Wayne, nobody wanted a Robin appearance, and Nicole Kidman's character was ridiculous.
The visuals were good here and there, but those fluorescent colors were too much for me.
Joel Schumacher simply missed the mark, and he was to miss it even more in the next Batman, bringing the franchise to almost death.
Oh, and Michael Keaton was the best in Batman's role, no doubt there.
Wow!!!this film delivers! - Batman Forever Reviews
the first and second batman are nothing compared to this great action-thriller. this film definatly delivers-it has a TOP-OF-THE-LINE cast- amazing dirction-awesome visuals- a great screenplay, and very well done acting. although this film might start with the dumbest most cheesiest and most lamest first 2 lines possibly im movie history. unlike the the first 2 films this movie was kind of funny also. the BATMAN costume looked like a StripSuit- like as if he were going to a heroes strip club- it had 2 very erregant nipples a HUGE crtch- very tight buttocks and tights-. and so did Robin's outfit- his crotch was bigger than batmans. overall this film was very exiting to see. its one of the best action films i have seen this year.A+

Not the best batman flim but good - Batman Forever Reviews
This is the worst of all the Batman flims but it is still good. With Val Kilmer, Tommy Lee Jones, and Jim Carrey these 3 make a good team. Then there is there leading lady Nicole Kidman. So this is a good flim but not the best Batman flim there is.
Git R Done
Ahhh mannnn! - Batman Forever Reviews
Sometimes it just doesn't pay to make a second installment of the caped crusader.Cheesy plot, cheap makeup effects and subpar performances from two acting geniuses Tommy Lee Jones, and Jim Carrey. Parents too much TV for your kids isn't good but don't risk your kids IQ by subjecting them to this crap.
I give batman: forever a solid a because.... - Batman Forever Reviews
I give Batman 4ever a solid A because I really liked when The Riddler and the other guy that found out that Bruce is Batman. to top it all off Master Dick becomes Robin. I give the movie

One of the best batman movies ever! - Batman Forever Reviews
Of course it's nothing like Batman Begins, but for the time it was made, it's pretty darn good. Good special effects, and Nicole Kidman was cool, too. Great movie!
Batman forever 1995 - Batman Forever Reviews
I was 4 years old when I saw this and just like my dad I became a Batman fan by watching a Batman movie ( my dad watched The batman movie of the 60s) This the second best batman movie of all time Jim Carrey is so funny as Riddler yo and Tommmy Lee jones did great as Two-Face though confusing when Two-face who was Harvey Dent in the past was black in the first batman but now white in this movie musn't fell in a puddle of white out. Nicole Kidman yo she was dazzling.Val Kilmer is the Batman he did a good job. The scene where Batman gives a riddle to Riddler and the answer is Blind as a Bat that was one of the greatest quotes ever in the Batman or jusy man history. The Batmobile was cool. And robin didn't do much in the movie but I'm not a big robin fan so ............... I guess he did make the batboat look good and the second appearance of the batwing was really cool. This is a movie to die for forever.
Hail jim carrey!!! - Batman Forever Reviews
this would have to be (as i agree with everyone else) the best batman yet. It was way better than gaybo batman and junk with jack nicolson and danny devito (no offence). I haven't actually seen batman and robin, but i loved this movie because it was filled with laughter (HAIL JIM CARREY), action and love.
Joel Shumucer (sorry, i dunno how to spell his last name) did a very good job with this movie, just like he did with Phantom of the Opera. I don't know why everybody's critising his directive skills, he's done such a good job. Andrew Lloyd Webber was right in picking him.
Anyway, back to Batman, yes, it was much better than the rest (although i can't say that it's better than spiderman :P).

Forever . . . - Batman Forever Reviews
The best Batman yet!! Val Kilmer did a good job as Bruce Wayne and Batman. One thing I didn't like was Jim Carrey's character, The Riddler. But, it's worth watching.
The batman lives forvever! - Batman Forever Reviews
The Batman is back, this time played by Val Kilmer, and his associate Robin ( Chris O'Donell) in this high octaned superhero movie. The script and dialogue are amazing, and the acting can only get better. Jim Carret's role as the Riddler only seemed funny, while Tommy Lee Jones put up a show as the Two- Face. In the movie Batman has to find out who is really is, and will the Batman live forever. He falls in love with Chase Meridian ( Nicole Kidman) who eventually at the end finds out Bruce Waynes alter ego identity. Overall this is a great movie, and since I love Batman so much, its even better!
#1 batman movie of all time! - Batman Forever Reviews
THIS MOVIE IS A TOTAL BLAST! IT LIFTS ME RIGHT OFF OF MY SEAT EVERY SPLIT SECOND OF THE MOVIE STARRING SUPERSTAR ACTOR TOMMY LEE JONES PLAYING 2-FACE ITS A MOVIE NOT TO MISS.

Batman forever - Batman Forever Reviews
A totally new Batman and a totally new director, Joel Schumacher. Dropping Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer has now entered Batman boots. The main difference of this Batman to Tim Burton's is he is not as dark as before. This time the caped crusader is up against the perfect villain duo of Tommy Lee Jones as the dangerous Harvey Two-Face, and with him is the hilarious but also nasty likes of Jim Carrey as the Riddler. There is also the appearence of Nicole Kidman, and later Chris O'Donnell becomes Batman's remembered sidekick the boy wonder Robin. Jim Carrey is more funny than the Joker was, but this film is still not as good as the first one. A good erray of action and adventure is in store.

Very good for batman - Batman Forever Reviews
This is the one good Batman film. Mainly Because of Jim Carrey and Nicole Kidman. Jim Carreys hillarius, and Nicole Kidman is much better then Kim Basinger as Batmans love interest.
Good film...... - Batman Forever Reviews
batman forever, what better way to bring in robin than have two-face off dick greyson's parents (a little different than what happened in comics i know)and i think tommy lee jones did great as two-face as well as jim carry as edward nigma aka riddler...
Batman film for the eyes' delight - Batman Forever Reviews
This movie was awesome! Jim Carry did a great job as the Riddler and Tommy Lee Jones was outstanding. The special effects were mind blowing and Nicole Kidmon was hot! I still put this as my 19th favorite movie because Val Kilmer was okay. To all those Jim Carry lovers out there, this is one of his bests.

Best bat-man movie - Batman Forever Reviews
This is by far the best of all the Batman movies. Val Kilmer is the best Bruce Wayne there ever was and his Batman role is second only to Michael Keaton. The villians are fantastic. Jim Carrey and Tommy Lee Jones were awesome as the Riddler and Two-Face. I honestly could have done without the Robin character. He came across as more of a spoiled, whiny little brat than a super-hero. Nobody will ever be able to do better than Val Kilmer did in this.
Really good..... as a decent rental. - Batman Forever Reviews
This movie is really good and I really enjoyed the acting, especially from Jim Carrey as of course he was the heart and soul of the film. This movie is one to watch in the comfort of your own home.
Comic book/ movie review #2 - Batman Forever Reviews
This movie is much like the first film, Val Kilmer is by far the best Batman brought on screen, Jim Carrey is humerus as the Riddler, which helps this movie in so many ways. The only thing story wise i don't appreciate... are the goons...again.
The director was able to do what Tim Burton did for the first two films, the only thing wrong on that part it was perhaps not as Dark as 1,2 but overall this movie by far is the second best Batman film of all four.

Best batman yet - Batman Forever Reviews
Val Kilmer is the best actor to ever play the role of Batman. Throw in Jim Carrey into the mix and Tommy Lee Jones and you have the best Batman movie to date.
Riddle me this riddle me that - Batman Forever Reviews
This movie which i knew from the beginning would not be as good as Batman Returns due to Tim Burton not directing it this time around. The casting was great but i dont really think that Val Kilmer is the best Batman but Chris O'Donnel is a perfect Robin. The characters were great and the plot was almost perfect i just think it needed just a little work. But all together i loved it and find it to be my second favorite Batman movie and suggest anybody to see it.
Riddle me this - Batman Forever Reviews
This is my second favorite batman movie. The only reason for this is because of the actors in it. They used a all star cast which made the movie a success.

What happened to the old gotham? - Batman Forever Reviews
If you cherished the direction of Tim Burton "Batman" and "Batman Returns", you will certainly find this movie distasteful.
Director Joel Schumacher makes the dark and gothic Gotham City look much to bright and futuristic that the film seems to be made for the Batman Beyond era. There is an awful overdose of bright visuals that causes one to think "What happened?" But neverless this is a movie with style for the acting is good, for Jim Carrey does a stellar job as the notorious Riddler. So in brief, Joel Schumacher makes a movie with style but something is simply missing.
Batman forever - Batman Forever Reviews
Batman (Val Kilmer) and his new sidekick Robin (Chris O'Donnell) take on the Riddler (Jim Carrey) and Harvey Two-Face (Tommy Lee Jones). The location of Gotham City looks rather colorful then it did in the last two movies, as well as Batman's suit, car, Batcave, etc. This sequel was not as popular as the first two, but soars higher than its sequel.
The second best batman movie - Batman Forever Reviews
This is a fun film that was made by its cast rather than its stroy and cinematography. Val Kilmer is the best Batman to date becuase he pulled off and extremely convinveable Bruce Wayne. Two-Face wasnt as serious as he should have been and the Riddler made jokes not riddles (Carey would be perfect to play The Joker). The city is extremely fake and what was with the green glow everywhere? Overall this is an extremely entertaining movie but still doesnt come close to being the great batman movie.

New look for the series - Batman Forever Reviews
When I was growing up this movie was my absolute favorite. I look back now and it still is one of my favorite movies. It's very different from the first two though. First of all its quite brighter and Batman is different. To me Val Kilmer was a real good choice for Batman and I think better than Michael Keaton. Nicole Kidman does a really good job as Dr. Chase and Jim Carry is awesome as the Riddler. But Gotham City seems more like Metropolis than Gotham City. Also there are a couple of refrences to Superman if you can catch them. Chris O'Donnel does a good Robin. I do warn you this is nothing like the comic! If you don't care its good, but if you want an exact replica of the comic you will be dissapointed or if you want it dark.
The tim burton ones were the best - Batman Forever Reviews
This movie was a good movie with a bunch of stars like Nicole Kidman, Tommy Lee Jones, Jim Carrey, Val Kilmer as Batman and Drew Barrymore quite a small role but was not as good as the first two by Burton. To me the only thing that saved this movie was the performances of Jim Carrey and Tommy Lee Jones as The Riddler and Two Face. The story was okay but it could've been better with the bad guys that were in it. Val Kilmer did a good job as the part of Batman but I feel that Michael Keaton has been the best Batman so far. I can't wait to see what Christian Bale brings to the character of Batman in the 2005 movie 'Batman Begins'.
Batman forever - Batman Forever Reviews
Forever I thought was the best one made! This is the coolest Batman ever! Val Kilmer did a far better Bruce Wyane, but an okay Batman. Tommy Lee Jones was a good villian as well, he made a good Two-Face. I thought that Two-Face should have been more scarier. Jim's character was okay. Joel Schumacher did a spectacular job directing this Batman. It's the best Batman yet.

Nipper piercings why? gotta hurt - Batman Forever Reviews
BATMAN SUCKS FREAKIN ROTTEN EGGS!!! i hate batman. the worst masked avenger to ever be created. actually the daredevil is the worst. i wont go there in this review. just read my review on the daredevil to understand my feelings on that. ok enough of that. for some odd reason though i found myself liking this one. jim carrey i think played a big part in it. he so crazy. tommy lee jones was just awesome. val kilmer was hot. i think he was the best batman by far. but i know out there is a butt load of people who disagree with me. is was a good movie. the riddler kicked patootie. ok its good. won't go into detail.
Only good entry in the series. - Batman Forever Reviews
Its noisy, its messy, its fun, and its the only Batman movie worth seeing twice. The reason that this one stands out over the others is that it has charismatic villains and heroes. Jones is a standout as two-face, and Val Kilmer makes a good Batman. Baby faced O' Donnel is okay as robbin. Carrey is funny as the riddler. ***(Out of ****)
Best batman ever made - Batman Forever Reviews
This is by far the best batman that was made. Ive seen all four of them several times each and Batman and Robin was horrible, it never should have been released. And the first two were very good but they were both too long and too slow and there was very little fighting.Plus Michael keaton is a wimpy batman. This one was very good because Val kilmer is a good batman, at least better that keaton, and the story was good and jim carrey and tommy lee jones were briliant as the enemies. Batman is supposed to be dark and scary and I think this movie pulls it off closest to the comic book batman. And batman is supposed to give you a warm fuzzy felling inside when he tricks his enemies or all the sudden disappears. He is supposed to strike fear into his enemies and is supposed to make the aduiance feel like he is invincible. Batman Forever is a very good movie and I think everyone should go see it if they havent already, and watch Batman and Robin before you watch this one it will make it seem like the best movie in the world, but of course it could even make punch drunk love look good.

What a mess - Batman Forever Reviews
How on earth this film has a good reputation I'll never know. It really is pathetic and just not made in the right way at all - 'Batman' (the first film) is clearer the best Batman, because it's actually serious unlike this shambles. No wonder Michael Keaton turned it down.
The best ive seen so far - Batman Forever Reviews
first its this movie then its batman one, then last and certainly leas the second movie, batman returns. jim carry is hallarious! hes a master mine at jokes named the riidler, as his evil vilanous name. with? all over his costume and his costume is green. two face and the riddler team up. but they hit ( well the plain hit) the statue of liberty in the begining.
Val kilmer, my favorite bruce wayne - Batman Forever Reviews
Val Kilmer is the man. Val Kilmer did a great capturing the essense of Bruce Wayne. He has the right body, the right skills and he loves playing Batman. It's too bad taht he didn't get along with Joel Schumacher. He should of starred in the first Batman. He makes a handsome Bruce Wayne. My favorite part of Batman Forever is when Bruce tells his sad life. That is very emotional.

Where's the love for val kilmer - Batman Forever Reviews
Batman Forever will always and forever be the most underated movie in the series to date. Sure plot holes abound but it's a freakin' comic book movie. I also have to say that Val Kilmer is a better Batman than Michael Keaton, yes I said it! Don't get me wrong Michael Keaton was spectacular as Bruce Wayne, but as for Val Kilmer the role of Batman fits him as snug as the batsuit, minus the rubber nipples on it *stupid idea Joel Schumacher*. From his comic book square jaw to how he carries himself as Batman he personifies the role. Batman Forever was more a comic book movie than Batman Returns only based on the fact that Batman Returns was truly more dark than the Hero had to be and with that in mind Batman Forever hit one out of the park. As for the Batman movie after this one no comment!
The best part is jim carrey - Batman Forever Reviews
I have to admit that I liked this movie a lot more then Batman & Robin. Pretty much anyone would agree with me.
I don't like Val Kilmer's Batman, and Tommy Jones does a nice job, and so does Nicole Kidman. And Chris O'Donnell is the perfect Robin.
But Jim Carrey is completely flawless, they couldn't have picked a better Riddler. Carrey is definetely the best part of the film.
Good - Batman Forever Reviews
This is actually a good movie. This isn't bad at all. This isn't the first time I have seen it, I just never wrote a reveiw on it.I'm not a huge fan of Batman but the movies are good, well the live action ones are anyways anmd I'm sure that "Batman Begins" will be good too.

The best........ - Batman Forever Reviews
This is the BEST.......................... Of the Batman movies. I love Batman and this is my favorite of all the movies. I even have the movie that came out in the 60's.
Batman Forever
wow even worked the title into a joke. lol
My favorite batman movie yet! - Batman Forever Reviews
I loved it when i was little i love it now! Good job 2 the peeps who made this movie! And Jim Carrey and Tommy Lee Jones are excellent bad guys, or at least funny ones!
Batman forever is better than batman 4 - Batman Forever Reviews
Batman Forever is about Bruce Wayner (Kilmer) who is going after Two-Face (Jones), a crazy psycho path lawyer who kills people with his coin. Meanwhile, Bruce/Batman arrives at a place where Two-Face was in and during the crime scene there was a hot stunning beautiful woman who is a psychiarist named Dr. Chase Meridian (Kidman). Chase has the HOTs for Batman because she loves a man with a dark side. Anyways, when Two-Face escapes. Bruce visits a company where Edward Enigma (Carrey) who recenlty work with Wayne's Enterprise for quite some time, but when Wayne made Enigma mad about his project, he wants revenge. Later, Enigma becomes The RIDDLER. Bruce goes to Chase's office to solve a mystery that came from THE RIDDLER and ask her to go to the circus. Suddenly, Two-Face brakes in and kills Grayson's family. Bruce was offered to take care of Grayson at his mansion for a long time. Grayson becomes ROBIN later in the movie. During Halloween night, The Riddler & Two Face captures Dr. Chase Meridian and leave Bruce Wayne unconscious. The next morning, Bruce wakes up with a wound on his head. Bruce reads the next riddle that The Riddler gave him when his batman's cave was destroyed except his new suit and his batboat and batwing. Robin came there to join him as partners. When Robin & Batman goes there to save Dr. Chase, The Riddler & Two-Face played a little game called Battleship. Unfortunately, Batman and Robin escapes from the deadly game and Robin was captured by Two-Face. So now it's up to Batman to rescue both Dr. Chase and Robin at a trap situation. Batman destroys the main chamber where the Riddler receives people's minds and unleashes the chamber and is completely destroyed. The Riddler becomes unstable and returned a complete psycho again. Batman saves Dr. Chase & Robin where Two-Face was about to kill them with his gun, but Batman asks Two Face about his coin when Batman had 30 coins throwing at his face when Two-Face fall off a pipe and dies. The Riddler is arrested to the Asylum. As Dr. Chase still didn't know who Batman was, as she gave a french kiss to Bruce Wayne and goes home with Bruce Wayne. Batman Forever was one of the best films since the 1st Batman and Batman Returns. Nicole Kidman was perfectly cast in this 3rd installment, she had many sexiest scenes to keep the movie going. Nicole Kidman is a true Oscar Winner and has the beauty to keep the movies going well.

One of the best batman's..next to batman 1 - Batman Forever Reviews
This Batman, Deffinatley was one of the best Batmans, it comes second to Batman 1 the story was sub-par,the acting was perfect, same goes with direction, and the visual's just wowed me, I don't know but I deffinatley thought this was one of the best, if not the best Batman to date..
A great action flick (+++++++) - Batman Forever Reviews
The best Batman yet! Val Kilmer did an average job on his part, but Tommy Lee Jones and Jim Carrey were superb!!! A great movie for all ages, and the cast is GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!
The story is great! - Batman Forever Reviews
I loved this movie! It's story pulls it out of the hole that the problems got it into. The problems where that there was no more Keaton and that Batman has a sidekick. Robin is good and bad in the film. The vllans are some of the best. This was the last batman movie Tim Burton had somthing to do with, which would explain why the fourth (Batman and Robin) wasn't as dark as the other 3 making it not as good. The film starts out with a dark action scene and flows pretty smoothly from there unlike Batman Returns. It's very good!
Good times - Batman Forever Reviews
This movie was one of the best of all time, it had great acting, the action sequences were amazing and i loved the vehicles and the new suits they donned at the end, it was good enough for me that me n my dad watched it 37 days in a row, it's definitely sweet.
The most under rated film in the series... - Batman Forever Reviews
Yes it's true: Keaton quit, the Joker is still dead and Burton (after a near nervous breakdown) moved from director to producer for the third film...
Yet... Batman Forever delivers in practically every capacity. Jim Carrey as The Riddler is manic genius, and Val Kilmer's duplicitous and unhappy Batman is outstanding and under appreciated. The Joel Schumacher (director) and Tim Burton (producer) hybrid was a success as Bob Kane's vision almost seems to come alive in this installment.
Perhaps one day a special edition will surface with the original cut of Batman Forever?(Approximately 30 minutes of deleted film mandated by WB including: nightmare sequences, intel on Claw Island and the rationale for the Sonar Suit among the cuts.
